Angelman syndrome is a rare neuro-genetic disorder which causes developmental delays, lack of speech, seizures, and balance disorders. Researcher Stormy Chamberlain, a genetic scientist at UConn Health, is studying Angelman's and other orphan diseases. She was interviewed on NBC Connecticut about the importance of raising awareness about this often misdiagnosed disease.
