The Long Island Country Music Association was founded over 24 years ago and includes over 300 people on the island. Each month, they hold a country western dance where three types of dancing are done: line dancing, couples' pattern dancing, and lead-and-follow. The monthly dances are held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lindenhurst.
