She was captured by the German army and sentenced to death. Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was publicly hanged by the Nazi Germans, at the age of 18.
Sophie Magdalena Scholl a German girl who resisted Hitler and the Nazis. Sophie Scholl, her brother Hans Scholl and their friend Christoph Probst, were found guilty of treason and condemned to death. They were all beheaded by guillotine in Munich's Stadelheim prison.
Lepa Radić a Yugoslav Partisan. She was captured by SS troops and sentenced to death. Lepa Radić was publicly executed by hanging. She was 17 years old.
