Spaceflight Now's Stephen Clark interviews ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer ahead of the Crew 3 mission, scheduled to launch on a SpaceX Crew Dragon ferry flight to the International Space Station.

Barron will fly with mission commander Raja Chari, pilot Thomas Marshburn and mission specialist Kayla Barron.

Lift off of the Crew Dragon is currently scheduled for Oct. 31, 2021, from launch complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. Crew 3 will have a six-month tour of duty aboard the International Space Station.
