We have a trailer a customer purchased yesterday. He brought it to the Nationwide Trailers service department shop today. He had his forklift operator remove the trailer vs using the jack. A very common problem we see here. Picking it up with the forklift he damaged the lead on his wiring harness. And replacing this lead we have PJ Trailers Bargman Sealed Harness. You can see it has 2 pins that grab the prong from the truck. This makes a strong electrical connection so you don't have flickering lights going down the highway and you always have positive connections. My suggestion to every Nationwide Trailers customer is we replace a damaged wire harness with a Bargman sealed lead. This is the best lead in the trailer industry and Nationwide Trailers is very proud to distribute this item. The Barman wire harness is available at Nationwide Trailers parts store and used in our service deparment. To replace this lead the first this we are going to do is go to the junction box. Were going to take the two bolts out of the junction box here and it's going to be real simple. We're going to go color for color with these wires and replace them on each post where they belong. We're replacing the original Bargman harness that is standard on all PJ Trailers, and replacing it with a new Bargman harness from Nationwide Trailers part number 170287. It's a real simple task. So what we're going to do here is the Bargman harness OEM from PJ Trailers will be matched color for color for each function. So we'll put the new white wire where the white wire is, yellow for yellow, black for black wire, green wire for green wire, and brown for brown wire. Light blue is used for reverse lights. So you'll see in every Bargman harness there's a blue wire. The blue wire from PJ Trailers is not used so what we'll do is we'll cut it here. If you ever do want reverse light functions on your trailer all you do is tie those functions into this blue wire so when your truck goes into reverse the reverse lights will come on in the trailer. But again that is not used from factory unless your trailer is ordered with reverse lights. Tuck the wires into the junction box and replace the cover. That's it.
