As a father and as a pediatrician, anything that is involving the heart of our kids, it creates, you know, sentiment and fear. And when we hear about the myocarditis inflammation of the heart, it, of course, it sounds very scary and actually it is.
And that will come here and share with you what we know and what I chose to actually do things with my kids. Myocarditis, actually the inflammation of the heart. This could be from many reasons and one of the most common things is actually getting a virus, an infection, and that actually will create that inflammation on your heart and the surroundings of your heart that is called pericarditis and we have heard a lot of this inflammation of the heart in context of the vaccines, but if you actually want to be protected against myocarditis and pericarditis, well, you need to be afraid of the virus, the COVID-19 virus, because that actually gives more headaches.
And actually, I need to say this, heartaches. If you actually want to protect you yourself, your family members against myocarditis, make sure that you get vaccinated.
