The Zchech Composer and surviver of six German Nationalsocialist Concentration Camps (KZ) narrates about his time and life. Karel Berman was imprisoned in KZ Theresienstadt and part of an Opera Group, lead by Viktor Ullmann. Berman sang the role of the Death. Shortly before the Opera went on stage, the (German) National Socialists murdered all of the Opera Group in Auswitz, only Karel Berman survived.
