As with miners of silver or gold, the LORD knows the valuable treasure He desires to bring out of the rubble of our lives.

Upon faith in Christ, He comes to live within us by the Holy Spirit; and then His process begins. It's a process that produces His intended end; it's a process that always includes at least two aspects.

Proverbs 17:3 is the passage under consideration here. Its effects are life-long, and last on into eternity.
