Speaker: Special Ed. Teacher (Kristina Adams)
This session will highlight some of the most common “invisible” disabilities with which either employees or students may live. These invisible disabilities can range from a learning disability (such as dyslexia), a behavioral disability (such as ADHD), or a cognitive disability (such as a traumatic brain injury).
Subject matter expert(s) will go over ways in which such invisible disabilities may manifest in the workplace or school setting, and how employers and education systems can do their part to ensure that employees and students are given the reasonable supports necessary for them to succeed.
