I'm Back! After a bit of time away from posting new original videos on the main channel I'm back and planning on uploading at a more regular pace.

In this video I take a large piece of Box Elder and turn it into a signature vase. I am really pleased with how this one turned out even though I would have liked to have seen some of that pinky/red wood in the final design, its a shame it seemingly stayed close to the pith. I do have a crotch piece from the same tree that was given to me by my arborist mate Connor so looking forward to turning that soon and seeing the grain! Stay tuned!

This vase was sanded to 3000 grit and finished with three coats of Danish oil and a coat of wood wax.
