Max Krucoff, MD, a neurosurgeon-scientist and brain tumor specialist on faculty at MCW, didn’t initially plan to become a doctor. But after a close friend was involved in a critical accident, he found himself inspired by the doctors that were there to care for him.

Dr. Krucoff now conducts groundbreaking research for brain tumors. His goal is to save lives and help as many people as he can by expanding the limitations of brain tumor removal.
