On the 5th November 2022, this 13 year old boy, a learner of English in a large Ministry of Education class in Gaza (50 students) was shown a picture (the one shown at the beginning of the video) and asked to describe it in English, though Zoom and in as much detail as possible to Hands up Project remote volunteer, Paul. English Language supervisor in Gaza, Ashraf Kuhail, had previously explained to the student in Arabic what he had to do and told the student that he could ask him for help in this task if he really needed it. Paul couldn't see the picture being described and tried to draw his own version of it based on the description. The student was given exactly four minutes for this task.
