More than 200 winemakers from Armenia and Karabakh took part in a wine festival in the Armenian village of Areni. The Areni Wine Festival is held annually since 2009. This place was picked on purpose, because the oldest winery in the world has been uncovered in a cave in Areni. Here homemade wines can easily keep up with well-known brands.
