This was the throw of the tournament at the 1989 Belgrade World Championships. Koga threw his opponent, Chang Su Li of North Korea with a stunning Morote-Seoi-Nage for Ippon. What was so amazing about it is that it was done as a one-handed, standing technique. Morote-Seoi-Nage by definition means a two-handed seoi-nage. And it is usually done as a drop. Koga was somehow able to do it one-handed and in a standing position. Koga of Japan, purely in a class of his own.
