An effervescent tablet was dissolved in a floating ball of water by astronauts on the International Space Station, who then used a camera with four times the resolution of a standard high-definition camera to take pictures. When employed in science investigations, the better resolution photos and videos can disclose more information, providing researchers on board the space station with an important new tool. One of the pioneering pieces of footage is this one. The cameras are being examined by experts at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville for gathering scientific data and vehicle operations.
