Lots of blood sweat and tears were put into making this one! Okay, fewer tears and blood but you get the point. The Murph Challenge is one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. And I loved every second of it. Not only will this put you in the best shape of your life, but it will also help you unlock some incredible mental lessons as well. It will teach you that you are much more capable than you know.

What is the Murph Challenge?
Every Memorial Day people all around the world participate in a "Murph" workout. This is to honor the Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy who sacrificed himself to save the lives of his team after they became surrounded in Afghanistan. It was his favorite workout (originally called "Body Armor").

The Murph challenge workout consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run, all consecutively for 30 days straight. A 20lb weight vest is also part of the challenge however it is optional. No days off. Just a massive suffer-fest. It's great... :')

Who was Michael Murphy?
Michael Patrick Murphy (May 7, 1976 – June 28, 2005) was a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He was the first member of the United States Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War.

Here's what I did each day:
- 1 Mile run

- 33 Sets
- 3 Pullups = 99 Pull-ups
- 6 Push-ups = 198 Push-Ups
- 9 Squats = 297 Squats

- The final 34th set I do:
1 Pullup
2 Push-ups
3 Squats

The 34th set rounds up to the official reps you need to do.
