The Harz Mountains region of Germany is incredible, it is full of half-timbered houses, wonderful hikes, picturesque towns like Goslar, Wernigerode, and Quedlinburg and so many more wonderful spots. Take a steam train through the mountains. There is so much to love about visiting The Harz Mountains and a few things that might not be so great for a tourist.
