The National Palace Museum of Taiwan is one of the largest museums in the world. It's located on a vast land with a size of 661157㎡. The 4-story building was built in the style of Chinese palaces. It keeps over 690,000 units of imperial relics from ancient China. It's impossible to display all the relics at once, so they replace the displayed set of relics once every 3 months. It is said it takes 30 years to look at all the relics that they have. Most of the displayed relics are from the Song dynasty, the Yuan dynasty, the Ming dynasty, and the Qing dynasty. The relics originally kept in the Palace Museum in Beijing were brought to Taiwan in 1948. The most representative relics are the Meat-shaped Stone, the green jade folding, the Jadeite Cabbage, and the Mao Gong ding.
