The clamshell exercise has a few variations. I find this version particularly useful when warming up for squats or for those with knee discomfort in the front. How does it help? Like any muscle group, when you warm up it, its coordination improves.
Simple, this exercise will help warm up the hip muscles. Slot it in to any of your warm up routines or between working sets.
