I recently got a lot of build requests from my community regarding this DIY pontoon. However, I'm pretty occupied by my real job. I hope these little tutorial videos and the details I provided below can help. let me know if there's any question.
Total cost: $700-800 (without motor and accessories, and it mainly depends on the cost of wood)
Took me about A month. Worked on it mostly in the weekend.

Details of this project:
- My pontoon Boat dimension: 10'3"X 7'8" (L X W).
posts are 22" higher than the deck (it doesn't look very good if posts are too high)
- Total budget of this project: about $700-800 (only the boat, excluding motor and battery)
- wood: (all pressured treated)
2"X4"X10' 4 pcs
2"X4"X8" 9 pcs (or more)
5/4"X6"X8 25 pcs
- Screws:
10X 3" 60+pcs, 10X3.5" 60+pcs, 10X2.5" 200+pcs
- Bolts and Nuts:
5.5"long, 5/16" thick, about 20 pairs(it's used to bind outer layer wood & post to the frame)
- 55 gal Water barrel:
at least 6. do 8 if you want to make a longer boat.

- Large Hard plastic sheet:
sorry I don't know where you can buy those, I just happen to get two of them.
if you can't find plastic sheets, you can get more barrels and use them as plastic sheet.
-Optional: Some metal braces, if you want to reinforce your frame.
