Curly gets hit in the face by a pie or shoe.
When he tries to retaliate by throwing a pie/shoe back at the person, Curly gets hit again before he can throw it.
This goes on for a while and usually, Curly will hit himself in the face with a pie/shoe...
...then stick his tongue out at the other person, followed by the person hitting Curly in the face again.
