There is so much to do when you raise a litter of puppies. And the last week before they go home can arguably be the most time intensive. At 7 weeks old our puppies are completely weaned from momma, though they still get to play and socialize with her, as well as they are eating portioned out meals of Eukanuba Puppy Pro hard kibble twice a day. They are also going out for potty breaks often and crated both at nap time and overnight. During play time they get to socialize and play with toys as well as other environmental enrichment activities like our Cato board teeter totter and Kuranda dog bed. They are also getting plenty of health checks including our local vet coming out to examine them, driving to Kansas City for preliminary OFA eye appts and final stool samples! Whew! That's a lot of activity for these little guys before they go home, but their continued development and socialization is so important to be able to send home healthy and well rounded puppies!
