One of the sculptures reminds me of a shark. A big shark.

To take photos and make video clips indoors here, you must ask permission and pay a five euro fee. Outdoors, no one stopped me from making clips. The gardens are really beautiful -- please keep off the grass. This is in Saint-Paul-de-Vence on the Côte d'Azur, overlooking the Mediterranean sea, in the Maritime Alps. Nice, Grasse, Monaco and Italy are close by.
It's 15 euros to visit here but really worth it. The visit will likely take you more than two pleasant hours, maybe more, and there's a café. The "recommended parking" area is actually rather far below, so if mobility is a problem for you, go right up by the entrance -- there is parking up there.
This place was opened in 1964 and is of interest for the gardens, the architecture, its ongoing events, temporary shows and a great permanent collection of modern and contemporary art. This is pretty much "the height of modern style." It's sleek, it's chic, it's James Bondian-smooth. (Who let ME in?)
Just because a place is a "famous attraction" and has many well-known names associated with it doesn't mean, necessarily, that it's for you. You know what I mean, probably. This place has tremendous variety, of course there's a spectacular boutique where you can spend even more money, but really, there is likely something for everyone here. I was utterly disappointed with the Musée Picasso in Antibes. At the steep price, plus more to take a photo of ... that ... I was better off right outside, enjoying the glittering coastline. Oh, well. Picasso, Chagall, Leger ... overrated, all.
