Controlling wet underfloor heating with a smart thermostat can at first appear daunting. The pipework and wiring of the underfloor heating manifold are confusing. However, choosing the correct type of intelligent thermostat can really simplify the process, meaning you just need to swap out a few of the existing dumb thermostat wires.

In this video, we show how to change an existing Danfoss thermostat to a Tado smart thermostat. We also discuss the problems of using a Nest thermostat to control underfloor heating.
