First time trying... 🙈
I love the famous tourte from Rodrigues island. I was never there yet but have
been tasting it from relatives bringing it from their holidays. Being away from Mauritius and craving for it, I've decided to give it a try. The symbiose between coconut and papaya filled in a soft pie took me back to the tropics. ❤

Ingrédients:
460g de farine
230g de beurre
2 jaunes d'oeufs
1 noix de coco séchée
1 petite papaye non-mûre
250g sucre roux
1 pincée de cannelle en poudre
Ingredients:

2 egg yolks
1 dried coconut
1 small unripe papaya
250g brown sugar
1 pinch of cinnamon powder
