The MCD's Demolition drive against illegal encroachments has begun in South Delhi's Shaheen Bagh today. A very heavy deployment of police personnel is present at the place to avert any obstruction in the drive, however the locals are seen protesting against the drive and alleged it as 'politically motivated' drive to muzzle the voices against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). 'The centre is taking revenge from us as we protested and raised our voice against their Citizenship Act', said a local.
