If you grew up playing Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Sony Playstation, Sony Playstation 2, Super Nintendo, Nintendo, and Arcade games then Launchbox is the software for you.
I've been using Launchbox for a couple of months now and its the best software for classic games I've ever used besides Mame, RetroArch, Project 64, ReDream, and others. There is a premium version that will cost you about $30 and $15 annually; or, a one time cost of $75. The premium version allows you to control Launchbox with your gaming controller, make custom playlists for your games, and change your Launchbox theme.
You can get by getting the free version but you won't get those features. I have the free version and its great. Maybe I'll invest in the premium version at a later time.
