“Stardust” is dedicated to all the people who find it difficult to change with the times. This can be for people in every era of history, but specifically people today, who choose to turn the other way when there is suffering and unfair treatment. @starimusic and I wrote this song in the studio in Oakland, CA during the height of the protests following the murder of George Floyd. It was devastating and we were tired of hearing the same horrifying news over and over. This song is a wakeup call to people who can’t find it in their hearts to tolerate difference and have no understanding of how to live in a world of diversity. The lyrics are about accountability, acceptance, and growth as a society.
