This is a video I made for a class just over a year ago. In it I break down the audio design and music in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" released for the Nintendo Switch in 2017. My main idea for this video was that the audio in this game was designed to be the players guide throughout the game. I explore this by looking at the games use of adaptive audio, leitmotif, diegetic music, foley, ambient noise, vertical mixing, horizontal mixing, filters, and more.
