Many people use affirmations to reprogram their minds. Affirmations may work for some people, but for others, their critical minds reject the affirmation as untrue, and the affirmations have little effect.
Askfirmations (a.k.a. Afformations as coined by Noah St. John) are affirmations in question form, with the question already assuming the wish has been fulfilled. An askfirmation assumes the dream has already come true.
For example, instead of saying the affirmation "I am so happy" that your mind may reject as untrue, an askfirmation would be "Why am I so happy?".
Some people believe askfirmations are more effective for several reasons.
First, an askfirmation bypasses the critical judgment of the conscious mind. Instead of repeating a statement that you know is false, the affirmation is hidden in the form of a question and is already assumed to be fact, so there is less critical judgment of it.
Second, an askfirmation already assumes the desired outcome has come true, which creates a stronger emotion of the wish fulfilled, which is crucial for manifestation.
Third, an askfirmation poses a question to your brain, and your brain is wired to problem solve, seek solutions, and answer questions. Your brain naturally seeks answers to questions that are posed to it, and if you can ask yourself empowering questions, you can train your brain to seek ways to make the dream become reality.
