This guy had strength that was essentially superhuman.
Despite being just 5’4” and at times as light as 130 pounds, he was an amateur strongman who paid the bills by pounding stakes for the railroad.
One day a criminal shot him in the head - only for the bullet to flatten itself against his skull.
He left the hospital that day, convinced his strongman training had saved his life.
He dedicated himself to strength and became possibly the strongest man of all time, pound-for-pound.
Some of his greatest personal bests included:
* Lifting a car with twelve men sitting inside it.
* Pulling a 145,000 lbs. train car using a chest harness.
* Keeping two 1,000 lbs. horses from separating by gripping their bridles.
They called him The Mighty Atom.
However you don’t see that sort of strength anymore.
Not since ancient and vintage training methods disappeared.
Fortunately, they are making a BIG comeback.
