After few weeks with dsc-h9v i've decided to return it and went with sony dschx100v. reasons why i did that are: 1. longer zoom. 2. 3 inch lcd which can be adjusted. 3. much better grip(reminds me of old g6 by canon). 4. zoom/focus ring. 5. better quality and faster 2.8 lens. the only thing i don't like is the size. i do like taking pictures and this camera will put me at ease. what i mean by that is that i'm always afraid to cary my d700. not due to size and weight but I wory all the time that it might get stolen or lost. if i lose the sony or if it gets stolen, then its 450 bucks, nikon with one lens....5000.
