Always follow the instructions to the letter to avoid complications. This playground belonged to another family, but their kids are now to big for it. They were so kind in giving it to my son and I'm so grateful. To facilitate the rebuild and because some bolts were very rusty, as I took it apart to bring it here I didn't separate all of the pieces. Enjoy
