Note: Surprisingly, I couldn't find any bacteria with my initial sample! I was shocked because the water was so nasty. I had to go back and grab some organic matter at the bottom of the pool of water before I could find any organisms.
After treating the sample, all the organisms were dead, but again, I had to look at piece of decomposing leaf. So, using aquatabs and physical filtration is an excellent way to treat drinking water.
