Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has a strong message for the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) and other autonomous councils.
Amid the impasse in the GHADC over the delay in processing pending salaries, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma categorically said that the state government is there to help and support the autonomous District Councils but cannot take full responsibility of giving the salaries.
