The ITN News report shows anchor Carol Barnes, who introduces a feature on the Gulf War. King Hussein of Jordan has recently arrived in London for talks with John Major on the Gulf Crisis.
Footage in this feature ncludes George Bush, Colin Powell and US vice president Dan Quayle. The report is ended by Alistair Stuart in Washington.
Next up is an announcement that the actor Dennis Waterman, who has been fined and banned from driving, for drinking and driving.
After this is an announcement that company barnkruptcies are at their highest level for ten years. A map is shown featuring the areas of the UK that have been hardest hit.
Next is an announcement that there was a big drop in the number of new cars sold in the previous year - 1990.
Finally a family of five who lived in a cave for 3 months were offered a temporary home by a businessman.
This is the end of the ITN report, which is then followed by local news. The Anglia news report is anchored by Stephen Chambers.
