As prime riding season gets underway, TxDOT is kicking off its annual "Share the Road: Look Twice for Motorcycles” safety campaign.

If you have a motorcycle rider in your family, here's a statistic that will gnaw at you: Last year 562 motorcycle riders died in traffic crashes in Texas. That's an 8% increase over the year before.
