Treat the patient, not the disease - the DO motto
Hi everyone! So I've been getting a lot of questions ever since I made my "How I got into med school" video about the difference between MDs and DOs. There is a lot more to the subject but hopefully this gives you a brief overview. If seen in a hospital or clinic, you probably would not even be able to tell your physician is an MD or DO unless this information is disclosed to you. In the video I also spoke about OMM/OMT - all DOs learn this but only about 5% of DOs use it regularly after residency (which is unfortunate).
I'm interested to hear what you guys know about this topic. Have you ever considered becoming a DO? And has this video changed your outlook on DOs as physicians.

This channel actually started as a medical school blog in order for 5 medical students to keep in touch during clinical rotations third and fourth year. Along with my youtube videos, my friends still post regularly - they give great advice and vivid personal experiences. I think you all would really enjoy it. [ Ссылка ]...
