Groningen, the largest city in the north of the Netherlands is a city for students. But, it's also a city for shoppers, a city for a fun night out and a city for leisurely day trips. Aside from the historical buildings, the Forum makes for a great stop, with lots of exhibitions (at our time of visit one to celebrate the art of DC Comics) and a beautiful rooftop that provides great views of the city.
