This Saturday Rub clip features Jim, Garry, Spud and Damo having a good day so far. The tweets come in demanding some funnies after a heavy opening. To get the Wolfpack up, they replay that swallow from last week where Damo choked on... something. It's played twice, with increased volume to really rub it back in. For some reason, they laugh harder the second time. Moving on, and Jim has noticed that Spud has been really up about his own performance lately. Whenever he comes on as a media performer, he likes to boast about how well he's performing. He reckons he's fresh and at the top of his game, and it's been going on all year. Garry says don't worry, just ride the wave. Spud reckons he can't even feel his feet on the ground because he's floating on air. Contrast that with the Spud that came out of the Richmond coaching job to commentate that finals series with Triple M, it's a complete rebuild that has lest the rest of the boys behind. But they will pull him back when he deserves to be, just as they did with Damo last week and that swallow – yes they replay it AGAIN, and crack themselves up, AGAIN. Okay, one more play, and Spud laughs even harder. Looking around the boxes, Spud admits they are still the best team on the air currently, even Damo's news work.
