Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for March 14, 2023: Lake effect snow will gradually wind down this evening out in the snowbelt as drier air works in with an area of high pressure. For the rest of us, skies will gradually clear and we'll be COLD with lows dropping into the low 20s.

Expect lots of sunshine on our Wednesday as high pressure settles in. We'll even warm up a bit with highs getting into the low 40s.

Our next system will approach on Thursday with increasing clouds and warming temps. We ought to get into the mid to upper 50s with a nice southwest wind. Rain will hold off until late Thursday and unfortunately will encompass much of our St. Patrick's Day with periods of rain and wind. Temps will start mild but look to fall back late day as colder air moves back in for the weekend.
