Welcome to the Johns Hopkins University Commencement for the great Class of 2016.
It is graduation day.
It’s an amazing feeling. All those four years of hard work paying off.
I’ve been waiting for this moment forever and now it’s finally here.
[CHEERING]
I got 14 family members here.
{PARTY HORNS]
They’re all very excited.
I feel super excited. I’m ready to end a chapter of my life and start a new chapter.
We’re counting on you to be among those who are determined to see the full scope, the full complexity of human experience.
After you leave here today it’s gonna be real life and real life is no joke.
[ANNOUNCER READING NAMES]
Johns Hopkins has helped us develop the academic credentials and skills that will make us the leaders of tomorrow.
It’s just been a heck of a roller coaster ride. We’ve had to put in the work and we put in the work. I want to take that degree and smile.
[WOOOO!]
It was a long four years at times. It was more work than I’ve ever done before so it’s definitely like an accomplishment.
It’s a really accomplished feeling to be able to just walk on stage and be able to walk out of here a Hopkins graduate.
The Hopkins name will mean a lot of open doors. But I’m definitely ready to step through those doors.
