Hello! and welcome to my second video staring my new Chinese Rickenbacker 4003 copy bass! and my first video in a new series I'll be doing following my progress modding the bass to sound as close as it can to a genuine Rickenbacker instrument!
Over the course of a number of episodes i'll be fixing up the issues I had brought up in my review of this bass, as well as changing up the wiring and installing genuine Rickenbacker High Gain bass pickups! (naturally there will be sound comparisons further in the series)
In this fist episode I mainly talk about my plans as we remove the pick guard and take a look at what this infamous bass has hidden inside !
(on a side not i will be drawing up some wiring diagrams of the final modded circuit, copying the actual 4003 Ricks wiring as well as the circuit used in these Chinese copies, you'll find these on my channels Facebook page after I've drawn them up)

I hope these videos help some of you out and inform and/or inspire you to do similar projects, and i hope the long tedious parts aren't too drawn out haha..
as always don't hesitate to ask questions and comment I'd love to hear and help you guyz out !
