The shade matching test for G-ænial A’CHORD: does it really blend 100%.

In this video we test the shade matching ability of G-ænial A’CHORD in the CORE shade A3. This shade should cover 5 Vita Classic shades: A3, B3, C2, C3, D4. The test consists of making 5 tooth samples out of composite material in the original Vita shade (i.e. a composite in the D4 shade). We have carved out class I cavities to perform the test. Then using only the A3 G-ænial A’CHORD syringe we have filled in all those cavitites and light cured accordingly. The test results show perfect shade matching for all 5 shades from A3 to D4. G-ænial A’CHORD allows you to achieve ideal shade matching with ease. Often times it appears the patient’s tooth shade lies between two Vita shades. By having shades that cover many others you reduce time in shade choosing and you reduce the inventory in your practice, especially for those rarely used shades which often expire without being fully consumed.
