I try to remake the iconic Kame House from Dragon Ball within Unreal engine 's real time technology.
Both the exterior and interior animations were done with sequencer and movie render que.
I am trying to go for a photo-realistic approach to see what kame house in real life would have looked like.I have used raytraced (RTX) reflections and GPU Lightmass.
The project took about 26 hours to make in total. It is modelled and assembled in 3DSMAX and imported to Unreal engine 4.26 with the data smith plugin.
Dragon ball has been always been a big part of my childhood as a 90's kid and I loved how chill kame house was so after a little bit nostalgia I wanted to remake it with unreal engine.
Kame House has made appearances throughout almost all dragon ball anime series and even the games.
From Dragon ball, dragon ball z, dragon ball xenoverse and super dragon ball heroes etc.
Hopefully I have done DBZ some justice!
