At the time we bought all these power supplies, we paid about $50 to $80 to pick them up. The price range is variable and seems to scale up to $100+ in some instances (not worth it), but we point that out when it's relevant. Either way, we're looking at some of the most popular and common choices among users on Amazon and Newegg (!) to determine if they're worth buying. The power supplies include the Seasonic Focus GM-650, the Fractal ION Gold 550W, the EVGA 700W BQ, the Corsair CX650M, and the Corsair CX650 (a different topology). We'll be adding more power supplies very soon, especially in the budget category. If you're interested in seeing a specific one looked at, leave a comment below and let us know what you want to see tested!
This won't be a "best budget PSUs of 2022" round-up or anything, but it is looking at 5 of the top budget PSUs. We'll keep adding and work toward a "best of" list!
