Lake District Staycation Vlog | First Time Stand Up Paddleboarding | The Happy Life Diaries
Our first overnight stay since lockdown! So happy to be able to get away for a night now we can finally stay in self contained accommodation. We headed to a spot in the Lake District we haven't been before. We normally head to the popular Windermere, Fellfoot or Ambleside but this time we headed to the quieter east of the Lakes to Wast Water. It was defo worth the extra drive. It was beautiful and much quieter. I bought a new SUP (stand up paddleboard) and we give it a go for the first time. Spoiler - I think it may become a new hobby of mine :)

We are Sara and Stephen, a UK mum and son based in a small English town near Liverpool.
In 2016 we sold most of our things, we quit our job and school and set off on an adventure of a lifetime to South East Asia.

After over a year of full time travel Stephen decided he wanted to attend public school back in the UK so our full time travel adventure came to an end and we settled back into life in cold, rainy England.

We are now a foster family providing a warm, loving home for children in need.
