My first overnight kayak trip and I learned a lot. The trip was supposed to be 2 nights going from Lott rd to Airport blvd. Trip started off great, but then my rudder broke, I lost my balance getting in the kayak and fell in the water soaking the only long pants I had other than my sleeping clothes. And I left my hammock tarp at home. Lucky I had my ground tarp for my tent and was able to use that to stop the overnight dew from soaking me.
