This is a voting guide video for students, by students to get University of California student voices heard at the polls.
In this video, students go over how to check one’s voter registration status, as well as reviewing easy ways to register to vote on campus at any one of the University of California locations. The students also review shortcuts on the University of California website to help students navigate voter registration more easily. There are many online options for registering to vote.
Join UC Riverside student-hosts, Sam and Chelsea, as they answer the following common questions about voting:
Who is eligible to vote?
How do I pre-register to vote?
How do I fill out my voter registration paperwork?
Can I register to vote online?
How can I see if I’m already registered to vote?
Did you know that you can pre-register to vote if you’re 16 or older? Even though you won’t be able to vote until you’re 18, pre-registering to vote will be you eligible as soon as you turn 18.
