The Last Fall is an ongoing multidisciplinary dance piece created for 3 dancers in which choreographer Marijn Celea researches and breaks down the movement of falling. In particular 'the last fall someone makes before death occurs'.
The idea of a last fall might suggest the loss of control of the self, as if one would give up the body in order to transcend into eternity.
3 stages of the process are being handled.
The moment before the fall, the exact moment of death and the possible moment after, where we celebrate life, good and evil and where we forget the need to be opinionated.
